 clip_image007_0002.jpg Zenzo Kasai was born in Hirosaki City in 1887 and lived in Ikarigaseki where her mother’s home was when he was 7 to 15 years old.
After moving to Tokyo, he was not famous for long time. In 1918 he published ko o tsurete("With Children in Tow") in the Waseda Bungaku magazine, which gained him wide recognition
He passed away in Tokyo in 1928.
